DSM-firmenich launched a range of seven sun care products that combine innovations in sun protection and fragrance. According to a Mintel study, 31% of female suncare buyers are interested in purchasing products that smell like their favorite fragrance. The line, called Sunsense3, is a collaboration between perfumery and beauty for consumers who want a luxurious scent experience from their SPF products. Additionally, the range uses lightweight textures and addresses issues with traditional SPF such as greasy or not environmentally safe products.

Beauty and home brand ATTITUDE has introduced Sunly, a line of 100% plastic-free sunscreens. Verified by the Environmental Working Group (EWG), Sunly offers a range of products, from a Mineral Face SPF Stick to an After Sun Stick. These eco-friendly sunscreens feature non-nano zinc oxide, providing effective protection against harmful UV rays. "Attitude is committed to continuing to minimize its environmental footprint at every stage of product development. Our research and development team is inherently innovative and embraces the company's mission of reinventing our industry by working only with the cleanest ingredients, providing maximum effectiveness, and reducing the use of single-use plastic," said CEO JF Bernier.

Who wouldn’t want an SPF product that delivers other benefits to your skin? Image Skincare launched their Daily Prevention line that provides anti-aging hydration as well as sun protection. The range features six products with Xsom Technology, “a proprietary, patent-pending, protection-boosting complex.” Daily Prevention has both tinted and non-tinted options with SPF ranging from 30-75.
