Spotlight on LGBTQ+-Owned Brands Redefining Inclusivity

Pride Month is a time to celebrate the voices, stories, and expressions of the LGBTQ+ community. Today, we are highlighting LGBTQ+-owned brands that are creating spaces so every individual can see themselves represented.

WILDFANG

WILDFANG is more than a clothing brand; it’s a movement. The company was created from the desire to challenge outdated gender norms and celebrate inclusivity. Their designs embrace what WILDFANG calls “our masculine, our feminine, and our-everything-in-between.” The company also has a commitment to sustainability, being climate neutral certified, and a pledge to donate 1% of annual revenue to impactful causes. From blazers with real pockets to versatile coveralls, Wildfang designs are for anyone tired of gender norms in fashion.

BOTH&

Both& Apparel designs clothes for transmasculine, nonbinary, and gender non-conforming individuals. Designed with the recognition that traditional fit systems fail to accommodate diverse body types, Both& creates apparel that ensures everyone feels comfortable and confident. The company believes everyone should experience gender joy, the state of feeling comfort and joy in your gender identity and presentation. This brand goes beyond clothing and embodies a fight for inclusivity and serves as a platform for visibility.

THE CRAFTY QUEER

The Crafty Queer was created after recognizing that traditional greeting card brands did not cut it when it came to celebrating queer milestones. Now, the brand offers handmade stickers, tote bags, jewelry and cards intended to celebrate significant occasions such as a name change, starting hormone therapy or coming out. Beyond creating inclusive and gender-affirming products the brand’s mission is also “to spread queer joy and to inspire others to advocate for the rights of all queer people.”
