This year, marketing activity among luxury brands is branching out beyond traditional Dubai, prompting brands to deploy both new and old marketing strategies across Gulf cities such as Riyadh, Abu Dhabi and Kuwait City. These regions require a bit of a localized approach to marketing campaigns which has some fashion brands venturing out with alternative formats and venues. However, many brands, conscious of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, have opted for a ‘quieter’ tone to avoid overly ostentatious or frivolous marketing efforts.
