WHERE WILL YOU BE IN 2044?
On August 23, to be exact? For those who experienced Monday’s solar eclipse, especially for those who may have experienced their first eclipse, the prospects of the next one in 2044 has got many thinking where they will be when the next one comes around. State Senator Eva Burch’s highly personal and passionate statements around this have since gone viral. Now many are reflecting on the irony of a law which not only predates Arizona statehood, but the end of the Civil War and the ratification of the 19th Amendment, giving women the right to vote! November is shaping up to be an interesting mix of ballot measures, not only in Arizona, that are sure to draw Gen Zs of voting age to the polls.
